2 States is a super hit film in Bollywood film industry. Arjun Kapoor and Alia Bhatt played the lead roles in the film. The movie’s remake was announced in Telugu with Adivi Sesh and Shivani Rajasekhar in the lead roles. Venkat who earlier worked with VV Vinayak as supposed to make his debut as a director with the movie.
Now, the director has approached the court on the film’s producer asking to restrain the later from any plans to complete the pending 30% shoot with anyone else. On this occasion, the director met the media and spoke about the issue in detail.
“I narrated the script to the actors before the shoot and sought their approval. 70 percent of the film’s shoot is wrapped up already. The film unit is satisfied with the output but the producer is trying to spread false news about me. He asked to make changes to the script to which I denied. Hence, they are planning to shoot the film without me on board. I am not just the director for the film but also a partner and profit holder in the movie.” said the director.
