Some of the big names who made an appearance included Janoos’s father – the veteran director Kamal, director Vishakh, Indrajith, Kunchacko Boban, Rahul Madhav, producer Anto Joseph and such.

This is Janoos’s maiden directorial venture, though this youngster is not lacking in competence or experience. After graduating from the London Film School, the would be filmmaker plied his craft by assisting some of the legends in the business including his own father. Janoos worked as an assistant director in Lal Jose’s Diamond Necklace, Aashiq Abu’s 22 Female Kottayam, and Kamal’s Celluloid and Nadan.

In addition to directing, Janoos has also penned the story for 100 Days of Love, which is a romantic comedy set in Bangalore.

Dulquer plays a reporter for a National Daily, as per the reports, and we do not know yet what Nithya’s role will be. This is the second time the duo are pairing up on screen after Dulquer’s debut flick Usthaad Hotel, which went on to win much critical acclaim. Though they were both part of the cast of the mega hit Bangalore Days, they did not share screen space and Nithya’s role was more of a cameo in that one.

The supporting cast of 100 Days of Love is an impressive one which reeks of potential, it includes Aju Varghese, Lena, Vineeth, Shekhar Menon and Abhirami Suresh. Prajeesh Varma will be the man wielding the camera for this venture while Govind Menon of the hit band Thaikkoodam Bridge, will be scoring the tunes.

So the whole flick seems to have a very youthful appeal and sensibilities…

Let us keep a close watch on it in the days to come and see exactly how this project shapes up.
