Yes it sure does – we’re talking about the upcoming flick starring Dulquer Salmana and Nithya Menon of course! This film will be the directorial debut of Janoos Mohammad, the son of veteran director Kamal. It will launch this month.
100 Days of Love is touted as a fresh rom – com brimming with that feel good vibe. The story is set in Bangalore and will take place in a span of a hundred days, as the title suggests.
A lot of the movies being made in Mollywood, especially starring the young stars, are set in Bangalore nowadays – the best example of course, being the smash hit Bangalore Days. Coincidentally, that movie too starred Dulquer and Nithya, although they never shared screen space and Nithya’s role was more of a cameo.
The duo has previously been paired opposite each other in Usthaad Hotel, which was a major success and was Dulquer’s official debut into M-town.
100 Days of Love is all set to be a film with its thumb on the pulse of youth culture as is evidenced by who one of its music composers are – the popular band Thaikkodam Bridge’s Govind Menon.
The cast of the movie will also include stars such as Aju Varghese, Shekhar Menon and Vineeth. It is being produced by K Vijayakumar under the banner of Aishwarya Sneha Movies.
Janoos seems ready to make his mark in the cine world, and the young would be filmmaker emphasized recently that his father has been a source of immense inspiration and support.
And it is fitting in a way, come to think of it – after all, Kamal and Megastar Mammootty have made some iconic movies together, and maybe it is time to pass on the proverbial torch to their sons now…
