In a traffic incident, Malayalam singer – composer Shan Johnson was found dead in her apartment yesterday. Shan is the daughter of famous late musician, Johnson.
As per reports, Shan came to her apartment after finishing a recording yesterday. She was supposed to travel to Kochi with her mother to oversee the arrangements for her second marriage. Her mother was at a relative’s house at that time.
Shan’s mother alarmed a friend after Shan was not answering her repeated calls. The person reached Shan’s apartment, and when they couldn’t open the door, they broke in only to see Shan lying on bed, presumably dead. Police did not find any suicide note, so they registered her death as unnatural.
Shan is said to be under medication for health issues, and reason for her death is not known yet.Her body was sent to a hospital for postmortem.
