Will Mahesh Cross Chiru’s Record in Tollywood

The mighty Megastar proved his stamina once again after all these years with Khaidi No:150. Now the biggest question is who will beat Chiru among Young Stars.

Chiranjeevi resigned the silver screen for more than two decades. When he quit movies for politics, only two heroes tried to match him but failed. One is his own brother Pawan Kalyan, and the other is Prince Mahesh Babu. As these two are having a tug of war at the box office, Chiru kept them a galaxy away with his latest hit Khaidi No:150. He set an opening day record of 23.5 crores of share and the total share of 105 crores for the first time in Tollywood with a single language. The pre-release business of Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Katamarayudu’ looked like breaching this record but it failed with average performance. Now all the eyes are set on Mahesh’s upcoming flick under director Murugadoss.

Being made with a budget of 100 crores, this movie should cross ‘Khaidi No:150’ record to enter break even. So it’s a do or die situation for Mahesh. The movie will get released in June.
