Going by the current trend in Tollywood, Rakul Preet Singh seems to have replaced Samantha as the numerouno star actress.
As Samantha has stopped signing films, speculated to be owing to her wedding set for this year end, the focus has shifted to who could replace her. Shriya and Trisha are done and dusted. Nayan seems to be giving tough times to producers to allot dates. Kajal is still in demand, but she is too pricey. Regina, Rashi Khanna, and Lavanya Tripathi have not yet reached the big league.
Rakul Preet Singh looks to be the only option to romance star heroes at the moment. After clinching Mahesh Babu – AR Murugadoss’s film, she officially became the top actress. She has already acted alongside NTR, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan. With as many as half a dozen films in her kitty, there seems to be not stopping for the Punjabi hottie for 2 years at least.
