War between Producer Writer continues

Actress Producer Preity Zinta was recently in the news that her cheque had bounced over payment to writer Abbas Tyrewala for his work with ‘Ishq in Paris’. The Bollywood writer filed a case against her for not paying money on time. However, the actress slammed a reverse case stating that Abbas has not done enough work for the film and hence the payment was not made, considering the grounds of non performance. Her spokesperson issued a statement to this effect – “While there is several speculation surrounding Abbas Tryewala’s claims against our client Ms Priety Zinta, her silence has been wrongly construed and her statement below, putting rumors to rest. The actress is now busy shooting for next film in Udaipur. Priety earlier made a statement too to this effect – “We will take appropriate action against him now that he has escalated the court and involved the media for publicity. Im not stupid to endanger myself by getting a cheque bounced”
