Veteran actress B.V. Radha passed away here at a private hospital. She was 70. Radha, the wife of noted actor and director K.S.L. Swamee, made her debut in film in 1964 with the film Navakoti Narayana alongside Dr. Rajkumar.
With more than 250 feature films to her credit, she has acted alongside almost all the top most film stars in South Indian languages including MG Ramachandran, N.T. Rama Rao, Shivaji Ganesan, and others.
A few years ago, she was cured of cancer. Her husband Swamee had passed away an year ago. The body is being donated to a medical college, as per her wishes.
