Super Star Mahesh Babu, who is currently in Ooty shooting for “Brahmotsavam,” will release this film in April of 2016. Later on, for his next film many Tollywood directors stood in the competition to direct him, but finally Mahesh gave his dates for star director A.R.Murugadoss.
Recently “Kanche” heroine Pragya Jaiswal was also roped into this film as the lead says rumours.
With everything settling in the right place, the team sat on for a discussion over the music director. Since music director was left out into the team, the producers and the director had some discussions over this.
While Murugadoss chose to rope in Harris Jayaraj, producers are in a thought of hiring Anirudh.
The reason behind Murugadoss opting for Harris is that Harris has given some super hits to Murugadoss’s many films. Harris Jayaraj is also a recognizable music director in Telugu too. Films like “Gharshana,” “Vasu” and “Orange” were composed by this him.
While that was Murugadoos version, the producers have a completely different story for choosing Anirudh. According to the producers, Anirudh is the trending music director in the south at present. His films like 3, V.I.P and now Vedalam are all receiving positive vibe for its music. Additional to this Harris charges Rs 4Cr per film, whereas Anirudh will do the music much less than Harris.
What to be noted is that Harris Jayaraj in the past worked for Mahesh’s “Sainikudu” while Anirudh worked with Murugadoss for Vijay’s super hit film “Kaththi.”
Shall be seen whether whom Mahesh opts to do music for him.
