After a long gap of teaser release i.e more than a month, the makers have unveiled the trailer of Theri along with the audio. Well, it’s a double treat for the fans as well
The trailer sheds much more light on what to expect from the film than the teaser. Vijay is playing Joseph Vijaykumar, a ruthless tough cop. But he is also a loving and caring father to a little girl, and he raises his daughter alone, who is motherless. Samantha and Amy Jackson both seem to be playing Vijay’s love interest at different points in his life.
But all the romance, fun and games ends when antagonist decides to attack Vijay’s family. The major story is going to be that of revenge. It looks like Joseph loses his daughter in the film as is shown by a school bus falling into a river. On the whole, it looks quite intriguing and very different from a standard Vijay film.
Vijay looks inspiring as a cop and the action and fight sequences look really promising. Other than the great looking story and interesting characters, the background score is a major highlight. GV Prakash is really going to kill it with Theri, which is directed by Atlee. Well, we are now even more excited for April 14th.
