Noted Telugu film producer Edida Nageswara Rao is no more, and he passes away today (October 4th,2015) evening at a private hospital in Hyderabad. Edida Nageswara Rao was born on April 24th, 1934. He owns the film production house Poornodaya Movie Creations in Tollywood.

He started his career as a theatre actor, film actor, dubbing artist and then ventured into film producing. He will be cremated at Film Nagar on tomorrow evening.

He has produced films with a classical touch in the 1970s and 1980s. He is famous for making critically acclaimed films like Apadbhandavudu, Swarakalpana, Swayamkrushi, Swati Mutyam, Sitara, Sagara Sangamam, Seethakoka Chiluka, Sankarabharanam, Tayaramma Bangarayya, Siri Siri Muvva. Edida Nageswara Rao’s last film in Telugu is Apadbhandavudu starring Megastar Chiranjeevi, Meenakshi Seshadri and directed by K.Vishwanath released in 1992. K.Vishwanath directed most of his films in Telugu.
