Sirish Bhardwaja was in the news all of yesterday when he secretly married Shrija, the second daughter of Tollywood soper star Chiranjeevi at Arya Samaj, Boyanpalli.

It is now reliably learnt that Sirish Bhardwaja has a criminal record. A case of kidnapping was booked against him in S.R.Nagar police station on March 30, 2002. He is alleged to have kidnapped a minor girl and confined her in a house for some days. In this case, bail was granted to him. It is also said that Bharadwaja has a fake passport case with the Begumpet police station. Some other cases are also believed to be filed against him in the Mushirabad police station. Bharadwaja is said to have good contacts with politicians of all hues and is believed to be involved in some illegal and unlawful activities.
