Suriya is busy with his next project after Anjaan and this time it’s with the Mankatha director Venkat Prabhu. The movie of course is the quite literally titled Mass.
The shooting of the film started last week, and the portions with Suriya in them have begun being canned already. According to sources, the crew will head next to locations like Karaikudi and certain north Indian locations for the many schedules of production. There are also reports that some scenes will be shot abroad in exotic places to add to the visual treat of the flick.
The two leading ladies in the film are Nayanthara and Amy Jackson, while Premgi Amaren and Karunas also play supporting roles.
Yuvan Shankar Raja will be the man behind the music of the film, while RD Rajashekhar will handle the cinematography. The movie is being produced by KE Gnanavelraja under the banner of Studio Green in association with SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu.
Venkat is very active in the social media space and the movie’s shooting updates are being spread among the fan community like wildfire.
Meanwhile, Suriya’s next release Anjaan, directed by N Lingusamy, and produced under the banner of Thiruppathi Brothers, is flying high on the clouds of fan hype. The movie’s trailer itself has passed 2 million views on Youtube with ease within days of coming out.
Suriya appears in dual roles in the gangster flick, which has Samantha Ruth Prabhu in the female lead. The release date for the movie has been set for August 15th.
So these are without a doubt exciting days for Suriya.. and therefore great days to come for the fans as well.
