Comedian turned hero Sunil is struggling to score a proper success.
His much awaited ‘Krishnashtami’ turned out to be a disaster. Even though Dil Raju’s stamp was there on the film, it could not show any impact at the box office.
Sunil is currently working for another action thriller titled ‘Jakkanna’. Vamsi Krishna Akella is directing this film produced by Sudarshan Reddy of ‘Prema Katha Chithram’ fame. Shooting is progressing at rapid pace. Makers are planning to release the film in June.
Three songs will be shot in Europe, and the remaining two will be shot in Vizag. Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra’s cousin Mannara Chopra is playing the leading lady in the film.
Sunil hopes to strike back with this film. Using Rajamouli’s name as the title is a gimmick by the makers.
