Meanwhile, the interesting buzz reveals that the makers later approached Ramya Krishna for the role and the movie has become a big hit. The actress also received a positive response from the unit as well as the audiences. Rajamouli, the director of the film several times revealed the reason for why the actress rejected the movie.
Sridevi was hurt for what Rajamouli did on a public platform and she later responded to Rajamouli’s opinion during the promotions of her film Mom. Sridevi said that it was her choice to reject a film and also added that she rejected many other super hit films in the past which no one cared about. She made it clear that the way Rajamouli reacted did hurt her feelings.
