Talented actress Shruti Haasan has recently called herself ‘Remake Rani’ while speaking to media post the success of ‘Premam’.
It is known that Shruti played the lead actress role in the Telugu remake of Malayalam Premam. Talking about her experiences with remake films, ‘I can be officially named remake rani. Besides Premam, my new film with Pawan Kalyan is also a remake. However, I don’t differentiate them as remakes and I approach ever role offered to me as a fresh one. I don’t even watch the original films to prepare for my roles instead I always try to emboss my stamp on the roles that I play, Shruti said.
She also said that she has a special place in her heart for Pawan Kalyan whose Gabbar Singh was her first blockbuster. She expressed her happiness for pairing with him again for Katamarayudu.
