After a successful debut with ‘Uyyala Jampala,’ Raj Tarun didn’t have any idea how huge his face value would cost. With taking Rs 25 Lakhs remuneration for his first film, Raj thought that this would be more than enough for him and his skills. Later on, the success that ‘Uyyala Jampala’ brought him, producers of his next film offered Rs 40Lakh, a 15Lakh hike for his next film.
‘Cinema Chupista Maava’ was a blockbuster. From the very first show, the film received an overwhelming response and Raj Tarun became a cult among the youth. Meanwhile, he agreed to do ‘Kumari 21F.’ Do you know how much he charged for this film? 25Lakh only. This is because, he realised that he will be working under the guidance of director Sukumar, famous Cinematographer Rathanavelu will be capturing him, and Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad will score music for this film, which is why he stayed, low on the remuneration part. Demanding huge could result in loss of opportunity for Raj, so he just took 25Lakh.
With Kumari also turning out to be a successful film, Raj Tarun is now demanding nothing less than one crore. Surprisingly the producers are also in no mood to bargain and are happily signing the cheques.
