The makers of his next have released his character Tommy Singh from his forthcoming movie ‘Udta Punjab’ today and within no time, it received a thumping response from the audiences. Shahid Kapoor is back with a new impressive look with toned abs and a thick beard. He plays the role of a Punjabi rock star Tommy Singh.
The actor Shahid Kapoor also adopted the complete nativity of Punjabi rockstars for the film. He did a lot of home work for the same as well. The film has been directed by Abhishek Chaubey of Ishqiya fame. The film Udta Punjab releases on June 17. It also has Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt. The film is scheduled for a grand release worldwide on June 17, 2016.
