Veteran Malayalam film and TV actor KN Jagannatha Varma passed away in Thiruvananthapuram today. KN Jagannatha Varma is known for his excellence in both Television and Film industries. The actor was 77 when he breathed his last. The veteran actor has been suffering from pneumonia and had been hospitalized for a while.
KN Jagannatha Varma began his film career with the A Beem Singh’s Mattoli. Later on, he regularly performed well and grabbed many opportunities. KN Jagannatha Varma has acted in hundreds of films and TV shows till date. The senior actor was into Police Department before making entry into the film industry. He retired as Superintendent of the police force. He was also an accomplished Kathakali artiste. Varma is survived by his wife Santha, son Manu and daughter Priya. Many Malayalam film personalities have expressed their condolences over the passing away of the actor. May his soul Rest in Peace.
