If you were looking forward to the third installment of Sarkar, you might have to wait a little longer. The release date of Amitabh Bachchan’s next Sarkar 3 is postponed. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma, Sarkar 3 which was initially supposed to release on April 7, is now scheduled to release on May 12.
Eros International issued an official statement regarding the release date being postponed. “We, at Eros along with @SrBachchan, @RGVzoomin and Wave took a mutual decision to postpone the release of Sarkar 3 to 12th May 2017!,” reads the tweet on the official Twitter handle of Eros Now. Citing issues related to production, they tweeted further saying, “This delay is due to delay in post production work! #Sarkar3.”
The trailer of Sarkar 3 was out a couple of weeks ago, and it received a great response from viewers. For those who have been ardent followers of the Sarkar, franchise loved every bit of the trailer. Sarkar 3 also features Jackie Shroff, Manoj Bajpai, Ronit Roy, Rohini Hattangadi, Amit Sadh and Yami Gautam in lead roles.
