We already know that the much awaited Akhil-Shriya wedding had been called off. All the guests that were to fly down for the grand destination wedding in Italy were asked to cancel their bookings. 700 guests were expected right from top industrialists to stars from Bollywood and South. Everything was planned out, and hotels were booked. Both families have remained tight-lipped regarding the reason.
This unfortunate development has come about as a surprise, as reportedly everything seemed fine until a few weeks ago. The couple was spotted together at a recent engagement in the city, and they looked happy.
Turns out, as per reports in a leading tabloid and a daily the couple had been having constant fights, even though they had been dating for two-three years. Other speculations point out to Akhil developing cold feet. He realized he was too young to get married.
The buzz is that, Nagarjuna isn’t too happy with his son’s decision. In fact, both sides tried to counsel the couple but look like they have made their decision. The two had got engaged in a grand ceremony in the presence of family and friends on December 9.
Akhil was last seen in VV Vinayak’s Akhil, he will soon be seen in Vikram Kumar’s next. Reportedly, he has gone to Goa and when he returns, he plans get back to work with full Gusto.
