Ram Charan breaks the silence on protests

After a long silence on the ongoing protests of Samaikyandhra agitation and the groups demanding the resignation of Chiranjeevi’s resignation, son Ram CharanTej finally broke it by making a statement condemning such an act. His films, Thoofan and Yevadu are upcoming releases that were threatened to be banned in Andhra if Chiru did not resign. Charan spoke to the media saying that people should not mix politics and cinema and that the issue going on is definitely a tough one and larger than his movies. He said that a lot of heads are working towards resolving this problem amicably and that the audience should go watch his films and not judge this based on political scenario. Charan’s movie, Thoofan was censored with an A and is all slated to hit the screens on spetember 6th. Hopefully Andhra region will see a smooth release happening.
