Director Hari will commence work on the sequel of his 2003 cop flick, Saamy and has titled the film Saamy 2. The film will feature the same cast as the original besides Keerthy Suresh who will be a new entrant for this film.
Vikram is currently working on two of his films, Sketch and Dhruva Natchathiram. Post the completion of these films, Vikram will start shooting for Saamy 2. According to reports, director Hari has roped in an actor as an antagonist in the film, who is known for his acting prowess.
Apparently, Bobby Simha has been roped in to play the baddie in Saamy 2. Bobby Simha is currently working on his upcoming film with Vijay Sethupathi titled Karuppan, which also has him playing a negative role. He will join the shooting of Saamy 2 after completing shooting for his parts in Karuppan.
This is will not be the first time that the actor will play a baddie in his career. He has donned the antagonist role in the past in films like Metro, Iraivi and Jigarthanda.
