Prior to the actual release of Baahubali: The Conclusion trailer, a Tamil version of the trailer was apparently leaked on the internet. SS Rajamouli said the leak happened due to a bug in Facebook. He didn’t elaborate any further.
Speaking at the trailer launch, Rajamouli said, “Piracy is different, and a leak is totally different. We are still trying to find out how the trailer leak happened. It is very irritating for the entire team, but we can’t blame anyone without knowing everything about the leak.”
Talking about the second part of the franchise, he said, “Unlike the first part, which was low on emotions and high on grandeur, the second part will have both factors in equal proportion.”
The trailer has garnered nearly 60 Million views (counting) including all versions. While the Telugu and Hindi trailers garnered more than 2 million and 1 million views, the Tamil and Malayalam versions clocked 300 Million and 600K views in YouTube. It has already become the most liked Indian trailer ever by beating the lifetime likes of Raees Trailer in less than 20 hours.
Starring Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty, Tamannaah Bhatia, Ramya Krishnan and Sathyaraj, the film will release on April 28.
