Nuthan Prasad died today!

Yester year versatile actor Nuthan prasad died today morning at Appolo Hospital. He was 61 he was born on October 10, 1950.

He was suffering with illness from long time and he has taken his last breath on Wednesday (Today, March 30, 2011) morning in Hyderabad. He is survived by his wife, a son and 2 daughters. Nuthan Prasad is well known to many Tollywood audiences with his voice and dialogue delivery, he is also known to many with his dialogue as "Nutakka Jillala Andagadni".

Nutan Prasad started his career in the Tollywood in the early 70’s. He started with the movie Andala Ramudu starring Akkineni Nageshwara Rao in the year 1973. He continued his venture with movies like Needaleni Aadadi etc but he was first recognized in the movie Muthyala Muggu when he acted as a villain along with Rao gopala rao. The success of this movie brought him many negative roles which he performed in his own style. His dialogue delivery gave villainism a comic touch. He co-starred in many movies with almost all big stars like NTR, ANR, Krishna, Chiru etc doing all kinds of characters like a comedian, villain, character artist etc, he even acted as a hero in one movie.

His acting career reached its peak with the movie "Rajadhiraju" in which he acted as Saitan . The movie became very popular by his acting and the song " Kotta devudandi babu kotta devudandi" is still popular till today. Nutan Prasad although acted with all the generation of heroes was particularly popular with the second generation heroes. Movies like "patnam vachina pativratalu", "khaidi ", "magamaharaju" ,"srivariki premalekha", "Kathanayakudu", "Aha Naa Pellanta" etc continued his winning streak. He was famous for dialogues such as "Desham chala klishta paristitilo undhi…". He appeared in many movies during the 80s. In 1989 While shooting for the film Baama Maata Bangaaru Baata he had an accident and broke his back. This left him paralysed from the waist down and had to use wheel chair. He then quit acting in movies. Once in a while he appeared in guest roles. He also gives voice over and commentary for serials and movies. In 1984 Nutan Prasad received the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor. offers condolences to Nuthan Prasad’s Family.
