An irate group of Chiranjeevi fans attacked the vehicle of hero Rajasekhar at Punjagutta circle, Hyderabad as retaliation to his alleged remarks that the actor had no political experience and wisdom. The actor was returning to Bhimavaram to Hyderabad. Rajasekhar in an attempt to escape from the assault took to wrong diversion and fled, hitting another vehicle in the melee.

In stone pelting, he was slightly injured, while his daughter received an injury on the neck. Later, with the help of the police, the family, including his spouse Jeevita Rajasekhar, was admitted to the Apollo hospitals, Hyderabad, for first aid, after which they got discharged. Reports say that Chiru’s fan had also waylaid Rajasekhar’s entourage at Guntur railway station last night.
