Megastar Power for Thoofan

The much awaited Ram Charan starrer and his big bebut into Bollywood, Thoofan, the Telugu version has been successfully released and is running all over with great turnout. There has been much speculation about the film being released as it received multiple threats from Samaikyandhra agitators, stating that they would not let the film run anywhere in Andhra because o ‘ungrateful’ side of Daddy Chiranjeevi who did not do much to help against the State divide happening.  However, the film makers have appealed to High Court for police protection to the theatres that will release the movie, which was granted. While everything fell in place for the opening to eventually, many say that it was Papa Megastar who actually pulled few strings to make it all happen. He made few phone calls in his capacity as a minister and there is a smooth sail so far.  Thoofan stars Ram Charan and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles and has opened to a great response in terms of turnout.
