Versatile director Maniratnam found his form back with the flick Ok Kanmani. The film has shown how a vintage Mani Ratnam flick would look like. He is now set to work with Karthi as his next.
Premam fame Sai Pallavi is the female lead in this flick and the latest update suggests that movie will roll on from March. Much earlier to this project, Maniratnam tried to rope in Mahesh, Nagarjuna, Aishwarya Rai in a flick to be directed by him but somehow project didn’t get materialized.
After that, he has worked out with Dulquer Salmaan, Nithya Menon, Keerthy Suresh. However, that project too was shelved, and Nani’s movie with Maniratnam was kept on hold. After these developments, Mani Ratnam at last finally formed a project with Karthi and Sai Pallavi. Will Maniratnam prove that Ok Kanmani hit is not a fluke one, and he is really back!!
