Manchu Manoj is often criticized for his overacting in his films. After a series of not so successful films, Manoj is ready to test his luck in a character that he has not played before. The trailer and promos of Shourya have already revealed to the audience that it will not be a run of the mill Manoj film but a different one from his previous films.
