Actress Manchu Lakshmi, who was last seen in “Dongata” playing the lead role, has signed her next film after taking a considerable amount of gap.
Manchu Lakshmi’s new movie will be directed by Karthikeya Gopala Krishna of ‘Vasool Raja’ fame. While ‘Dongata’ was produced under Lakshmi’s home banner Manchu Entertainments, this new flick will be produced by Maunika Chandrasekhar and Uma Lakshmi in an association.
Said to be a thriller, the film will have pooja ceremony on 20th May. The regular shooting will start from June. Lakshmi will be seen in the role of a young judge who fights for justice against all odds. The entire movie will be shot in a single schedule in and around Hyderabad. The makers said that they would announce the complete details of cast and crew on the day of film’s launch.
Thrillers are doing wonders at the box office lately, so Machu Lakshmi also hopes to score a big hit with the yet to be titled film.
