M.M. Keeravani’s tribute to SP Balasubrahmanyam

SP Balasubrahmanyam who completed 50 years of his singing career has been deeply honored by ace music director M.M.Keeravani on this very special occasion.

SP Balasubrahmanyam begun singing from the year 1966. On December 15th of 1966, he sung his first song “Emi ee vintha moham” for the film ‘Maryada Ramanna’ at the age of 19. S.P. Kodandapani was the music director who gave the chance of singing for Balasubramanyam. In over SPB sang three songs in this film.

With beginning his career in 1966, Balasubramaniam went to sing over 40,000 songs in various Indian Languages. The language in which he sung most of the songs is Telugu. Balasubramaniam was awarded six National Film Awards across four languages.

On the eve of Balasubramanyam completing 50 years journey as a playback singer, music director M.M.Keeravani sang a song as tribute to the legend.
