Varun Tej starrer “Loafer” has released on 17th December and received a mixed response from audience and critics. However, the Puri Jagannath directed movie has fetched a share of Rs 3.49 crore gross on the first day at the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana box office. “Loafer” released in over 800 theaters across the globe.

This share is the highest for Varun, beating “Kanche” day one share of Rs 2.51 crore. The film is going to enjoy a solo run in B and C centers for the rest of the week as there is no competition. However, in multiplexes, Loafer will have to face stiff competition from Bollywood biggies like Bajirao Mastani, Dilwale and Dhanush’s ‘Nava Manmadhudu’.
