NEW DELHI: Suspended IPL commissioner Lalit Modi moves the Supreme Court seeking replacement of two members of the disciplinary committee probing allegations of financial irregularities against him.
Earlier, Bombay High Court’s had dismissed Lalit Modi’s similar petition challenging the constitution of its disciplinary committee and BCCI had decided to continue the hearing with the same member.
Modi has demanded recusal of Arun Jaitley and Chirayu Amin from the disciplinary panel, saying they were biased against him.
Supreme Court had earlier too questioned the BCCI secretary N Srinivasan about his dual role as the Board official and owner of an IPL team.
The conflict of interest petition was filed by Muttiah. Srinivasan, who is the owner of the IPL team Chennai Super Kings, had finished presenting his arguments and was on the back foot.
