Kushboo seeks Madras court permission to go abroad

Actress and Tamil Nadu Congress spokesperson Khushboo Sundar has filed a petition before the Madurai bench of the Madras high court seeking permission to go overseas. Khusbhu has been ordered to seek permission from the court before going on any trip abroad as the Andipatti police had filed a case against her in 2011.

According to Khushbu, she had joined the DMK in 2009 and had canvassed at various places for the party during the assembly election in 2011. In one instance, the Andipatti police in Theni district foisted a false case against her and few others under Sections 143, 341, 188 of the IPC.

The police filed a final report before the district munisf court-cum-judicial magistrate court in Andipatti. Seeking to quash the case she filed a petition before the high court bench, which in turn stayed the proceedings. Subsequently, the P C Patti police in Theni filed another case against her, against which she moved a petition before the high court bench.
