There is a strong perception is media circles that versatile actor Kota Srinivasa Rao drinks a lot, and he often comes to film shoots in a drunken state.
In a recent interview, Kota admitted about his drinking habits and said that he used to take part in shoots in a drunken state. Kota confessed that he attended shooting for as many as 20 films while he was drunk but the senior actor said that he used to take director’s permission.
Kota added that his drinking habits were true, but the media has magnified it a lot and spread wrong rumors of him being drunk most of the times. It may be noted that the veteran actor was conferred with Padma Shri award.
Celebrities of showbiz tend to booze a lot there is hardly any teetotaler in the film circuit.
