Jacqueline Fernandez is an Indian ,actress, model ,and the winner of Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant. One of the most popular actresses in India, she is the recipient of the several awards. Alongside her screen acting career, Fernandez has worked as a judge in the ninth season of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (2016–2017), is a popular celebrity endorser for various brands and products, has participated in stage shows, and is active in humanitarian work.

According to Mathew is an upcoming film directed by Chandran Rutnam. It is a romance, crime and thriller film based on the crimes of Father Mathew Pieris, Anglican priest of the Church of St Paul the Apostle, Kynsey Road, Colombo, who was convicted of the double murders of his wife ( Eunice Pieris) and Russel Ingram, the husband of his lover in 1979.

Controversies– It is unproven that because of the restrictions imposed by Sajid Khan and their breakup , Jacqueline had to reject a number of films including Jism 2 and Krish 3.
She was in the news for a humanitarian cause being associated with PETA, she met the Mayor of Mumbai urging him to ban the horse carriages. And in 2015 finally, all the horse carriages in Mumbai have been banned. She turned vegetarian after joining PETA.
She owns her own restaurant in Sri Lanka named Kaema Sutra.
