Pop star Jennifer Lopez has demanded 21 million dollars to continue as a judge on the ‘American Idol’.
The 42-year-old singer, who recently broke up with her husband Marc Anthony, gave the show’s bosses a tough time last week after it was learnt that she would not make a comeback to the hit ITV2 series.
However, the executives claimed that the star has returned to the negotiating table and admitted they were confident she would return.
“We’re in good shape. No worries. No dark clouds on the horizon,” the Sun quoted show boss Cecile Frot-Coutaz as saying.
However, the negotiation will cost the bosses a big sum as sources now have suggested that Lopez has claimed an equal amount to what Simon Cowell had been earning when he was a judge on the Fox TV show – 21 million dollars.
