Super Star Rajinikanth film needs no promotion, but if the makers decide to do promotions, they will do it in a massive manner. We have witnessed it for his previous film Kabali and now the same is happening for his upcoming film 2.0. The film is scheduled for a grand release on Republic Day next year. The shoot is completed and the post-production activities are in full swing now.
Kick starting the film’s promotions, the makers erected a hot-air balloon featuring life-sized images of Rajinikanth and actor Akshay Kumar. This hot-air balloon will travel around the world by flying over the iconic Hollywood signage in Los Angeles. The makers allocated Rs 40 crore rupees as a budget for the promotions of the film. Amy Jackson plays the female lead in the film.
