Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna, who proved herself on the small screen with her shows like Prematho Mee Lakshmi, Luckunte Lakshmi and Boom Boom, is all set to host a new show Memu Saitham. It is a TV show that helps the common man, who struggle to achieve their dreams with an undying spirit. The show features some young actors doing odd jobs and donating the money earned to the poor. The celebrities’ earnings through odd jobs is multiplied by 100 and that amount is donated.
Today, a press meet has been held at Prasad Labs to promote the show in a big way. Speaking to the media, Lakshmi Manchu said that, this idea was developed two years ago, but she is not able to develop the idea at that time. With the support of Shruthi Shinde, who is the daughter of Ex- Central Minister Sunil Kumar Shinde, she now came forward to help the needy people with Memu Saitham show. Lakshmi further added that actresses are coming forward and showing interest to participant in the show but heroes are not showing interest to participate. Manchu Lakshmi further admitted that she hope that heroes come forward after seeing the episodes on TV.
As part of the programme, Rakul Preet and Sushanth also attended the event. Rakul Preet Singh, Akhil Akkineni, Regina Cassandra and Rana Daggubati joined with Lakshmi Manchu and served as normal persons in Hyderabad and the money earned by this show will be spent for the welfare of natural disasters victims. The channel already started airing the promos and show will be telecast soon.
