The postponement spree is continuing in South film industry currently. Usually, the film releases postpone because of the delay in the shoots and other reasons. Very recently, the demonetisation has also showed its effect on the film releases. The film Singham 3 also faced the same issue. Singham 3 has finally got a release date as 9th February. The film was postponed almost three times. Now, Venkatesh starrer Guru also got postponed. Guru is the official remake of the bilingual film titled as Irudhi Suttru.
The film completed its shoot and the post-production activities have also come to an end. The film was supposed to release on 26th January on the occasion of Republic Day but it was now pushed to a later date. As per the reports coming in, the film will be releasing in the month of April. But, the film unit is still thinking about it and the complete details about the same will be revealed soon.
