Gopala Gopala Movie Review:After blockbuster hits in the form of “Gabbar Singh” and “Atharintiki Daredhi”, Pawan Kalyan, came up with another top level devotional touched flick “Gopala Gopala”. Continuing the trend of Victory Venkatesh’s multistarrer ventures, Pawan Kalyan joined the hands with Venkatesh for a blockbuster multistarrer. The hype is on peaks and read on the review to know whether it reached the expectations or not.

Story:

Gopala Rao (Victory Venkatesh) owns a shop and earns his bread selling God idols and other religious gadgets. But he won’t believe in God and uses the weakness of the people to get the income. At a certain point of time, an earthquake attacks his place the shop gets demolished. In this point of time, Gopala Rao loses most of his assets. Even the insurance firm, with which he insured his shop too turns down the claim saying some devotional clause. Finally, Gopala Rao files complaint on God and what happens next forms the rest of the story.

Performances:

Pawan Kalyan is the main asset for this venture and the Power Star factors added a lot to this flick. May be, if Suresh Babu ropes in another actor, we may not find this sort of entertainment. Victory Venkatesh is another pillar for the flick and he had several family related aspect in which he performed to the best level. Shriya Saran has limited scope but she did her role well. Dialogues of the lead actors turned to be a main highlight.

Krishnudu, Posani Murali Krishna and Mithun Chakravarthy are all fine, supporting the lead actors on silver screen.

Technical Aspects:

Technically, Suresh Babu too took utmost care to show the flick in the most richest manner. Production values were well maintained and the flick looked good on the silver screen. Screenplay was fine and the story too was good. After “Atharintiki Daredhi”, Pawan came up with another family entertainer and Venkatesh being a family hero, worked out well with the family related scenes in the flick.

Film maker made sure that the original essence in the venture remains the same in the remake version too. The changes too looked fine but the pace of the flick could have been a big higher. Unlike, Pawan Kalyan’s past ventures, this flick has an average ending and this one too could have been checked further.

On an average:

On an average, in the Pongal Season, where majority of the families will get together and enjoy the time, Pawan Kalyan and Venkatesh came up with a very decent family entertainer which is a bit more towards devotional. With a good and confident story and with high level star cast, the film makers of “Gopala Gopala” didn’t leave a single stone unturned. This flick may get maximum collections in this season and as per the trade talk, 70 Crores collection mark is estimated to be the main target for this venture.

If things goes well for this flick in the next few days, we can expect this venture to touch that mark easily.
