The Kapil Sharma –Sunil Grover fight on flight controversy may take longer to end. Earlier it was being reported that the star comedian, who was in an inebriated state had hurled abuses at Grover while the cast of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ was returning from Melbourne after a successful tour. But the latest report is shocking!
According to reports, Kapil slapped and hit Sunil with a shoe. An eyewitness, on the condition of anonymity, revealed that Kapil had consumed an entire bottle of Glenfiddich whisky and was visibly drunk. When the cabin crew started to serve food, Sunil and rest of the members of TKSS started to eat and this angered Kapil.
“Jab maine khaana shuru nahi kiya toh tum logo ne kaise le liya khaana?” Kapil yelled. A source said, “The cast of TKSS was stunned and they started to return their half-eaten food trays to the cabin crew. Sunil tried to calm him down but “Kapil got up, took off his shoe, and hit Sunil. “He (Kapil) also pulled Sunil’s collar, and repeatedly slapped him,” the eye-witness added.
But Kapil was uncontrollable. According to the eye-witness, Kapil said, “Tum logon ko maine banaya hai. Sabka career khatam kar dunga. Tum TV waale kya samajhte ho? Sabko nikaal dunga main.” He even taunted Sunil for leaving his show for another offer a few years back and subsequently returning to team Kapil after the programme flopped, the report added.
The rest of the passengers were reportedly shocked and they enquired from the crew if some emergency measure could be taken to put an end to the scene that was created on flight.
Nonetheless, Kapil and Sunil are yet to come up with an official statement clarifying their stance.
