Thulasi – a Victory Venkatesh film, which is into its second week, has collected a swirling share of Rs. 12 crore in just 12 days, said its presenter Dr. D. Ramanaidu. The jubilant unit members of the film tonight held a success meet to express their joy. Made on Suresh Productions banner, the event was attended by producer D. Suresh Babu, hero Venkatesh, director Boyapati Seenu, Stuntsmen Ram-Lakshman, dialogue writers Paruchuri Brothers, child artiste Athulith and others. Jhansi who also played the role of Kokapeta Aunty anchored the meet.

D. Ramanaidu said: "The film is the result of team work. My sons Suresh Babu and Venkatesh Babu have done excellent job. They worked hard for the project. Venkatesh had even suffered leg injury during the shoot. But, he successfully finished that project. I thank the entire cast and crew for the success. My experiences with a lot of ups and downs tell me – to be humble when in successes and bold when in failures. I followed this and I am happy always. My sincere thanks to the people of Andhra Pradesh for their patronage to our films."

Hero Venkatesh said: "I never felt any tension while working for the film. Director Boyapati, producer Suresh Babu, music director Devi Sri Prasad played vital roles in the movie's success. Above all, it is the audience and my fans who blessed me with this stupendous hit film. I appreciate Athulith (Child artiste) for his extraordinary talent. People are telling me that I scored a hat-rick with Lakshmi, AMAV and Tulasi. But, I can say, I had put in equal efforts for all the films and maintained the same commitment. I have learnt from my father to be humble when in successes and bold in failures. I shall be always grateful to him."

Paruchuri Brothers recalled their association with Suresh Productions, having worked for over a hundred films. They had special appreciation for child artiste Athulith.
