Kodandarami Reddy's Godava

Hot shot director of the 90s and who spelt a new meaning to the stardom in the industry, A. Kodandarami Reddy's launch vehicle for his son Vaibhav – titled Godava (with tag running For Love) – is getting ready for screen hit next month. The audio will be hitting the music stands on or before September 11 ^th. Made on K. Films, the film is produced by Bharati, spouse of director Reddy. Music is by Mani Sharma. Paruchuri Brothers (story and dialogue writers), Sunil Reddy (elder son of Reddy) were present at the press meet.  

Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao said that they cherish a strong association with AKR for the last twenty five years. "Kodandarami Reddy gave spiralling hits with  Megastar Chiranjeevi and all other big stars. No hero had ever declared that he lost due to the director. That is the stamina of this senior man. Actually, he wanted to become a hero. The same thing he wants to realise through his son Vaibhav. For this purpose, he finished the project Godava with the best artistes and technicians involved with the film. A good number of youngsters are making it to the industry. I request you all to bless Vaibhav."

Paruchuri Gopalakrishna said that "it is Sobhan Babu who suggested Kodandarami Reddy to name his son as Vaibhav. Just as Ramanaidu launched Venky with all the paraphernalia, Reddy too took all care doing the same for Vaibhav. I am sure; Vaibhav would prove his mettle as the successful heir to Reddy."

Vaibhav sought the blessings of the media for his advancement. Kodandarami Reddy said that the film was shot extensively in Hyderabad and Vizag. The hero plays the role of a student, but to a full-length family drama, coupled with action and love. There are six songs in the film. They were canned in Malayasia, Bangkok, Vizag and Hyderabad.
