Distributor’s Controversial Press Meet Over SGS Losses

Everyone knows that the failure of Pawan Kalyan’s last film Sardaar Gabbar Singh. The film failed miserably at the box office and incurred massive losses. The makers of the movie have sold the Theatrical rights of the film for hefty prices, and the losses also came by huge margins. It was learnt that the Producers promised compensation in the form of ‘Katamarayudu’ Satellite rights, but one of the film’s distributors was unhappy with the way Pawan Kalyan and the SGS producers behaving.

A distributor named Sampath Kumar acquired ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ Krishna district rights for Rs 4.5 crore. The film did only 2.58 crores in the final run. Sampath was left with a loss close to 2 crores now. He met media and said that the production unit was not answering his calls and was not replying to the messages as well. He stated that he was even denied appointment of Pawan Kalyan.
