National-award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar’s comedy debut Dil Toh Bachcha Hai Ji, starring Ajay Devgn, Emraan Hashmi and Omy Vaiday, is all set to hit screens on January 28, 2011.
The film, a co-production between Bhandarkar Entertainment and Kumar Mangat Pathak’s Wide Frame Pictures, is a slice-of-the-life romantic comedy.
"This is the first time that I am making a slice of life romantic comedy and I hope as people loved my earlier films, they will definitely accept this movie too. The way DTBHJ is shaping up I am sure it will be a treat to watch," Bhandarkar said.
"DTBHJ, takes a humorous look at love and the extent people will go to escape or attain it," the ‘Page 3’ director added.
The story revolves around three men and their encounters with love. A listless Naren Ahuja (Ajay), well into his thirties and going through a divorce, falls in love with a vibrant and bubbly June Pinto (Shazahn Padamsee).
Milind Kelkar (Omi), a naive poet and an idealistic lover, is besotted by an ambitious and practical Gungun Sarkar (Shraddha Das)and Abhay (Emraan), is drawn towards Nikki (Shruti Hassan), a modern girl who speaks her mind.(PTI)
