Finally the wait is over. Its 21 Dec 2012. No, not for dooms day, but for Chulbul Pandey and his DaBanggiri. Yes Salman is back and is back with his Franchise Dabangg.
Dabangg 2 Released all over india with its own Dabangggiri. If we look at the film its same Salman Khan film repeated. It’s the character which brought an instant stardom to Salman Khan from Wanted (2009). Remember, when it Salman khan film it is said that story or the script does not play an important role as his presence speaks itself.
Plot:
Dabangg 2 takes off from where the dabangg was left. It is a sequel and in this sequel Chulbul pandey is transferred to Kanpur town. The story beings with a Kanpur kidnapping. And thats where Robinhood Pandey enters. Well, the entry looks good only on 70 mm screen. Its Salman Khan and it is has to be that way. As hey says " Chalo, Chulbul Pandey ka swagath Karte Hain".
As the first part, Pandeyji is merciless towards criminals, notorouisly robs rich and helps poor. Thats how the corrupt but good Cop chulbul pandey a.k.a Robinhood pandey is suppose to be. He gets in tiff with Baccha Bhaiya. Baccha Bhaiya, a criminal turned politician and who wants to win elections at any cost, is aided by his brother Chunni and Gainda.
Dabangg 2 is as expected – full of Robinhoon Pandey punches and punchlines, loaded with nonsense yet fun in story and why the hell we need to care about logic. It’s entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.
It Salman Khan shown in 70 mm screen which includes 5-6 breathtaking entries, 5-7 punches and punchlines and ofcourse the romantic moments between Robinhood Pandey and Rajjo.
Actors:
Dabangg 2 is Salman Khan show all the way and if this sequel is doing well in boxoffice, then this is Salman Khan year completely. Its treat to watch him in his own unique style, charm and acting.
Sonakshi sinha aka Mrs. Pandeyji looks good and carried her desi look avtaar convincingly.
Prakash Raj as Bachaa Bhaiya is another treat to watch. His terrific performance and dialogue delivery is unmatchable. His brothers in film Nikitin Dheer as Chunni and Deepak Bobriyal as Gainda were also good and convincing in their roles.
The film is directed by Arbaaz Khan and its his debut as a director. Well, a good replacement in place of Anuraj Kashyap (who directed first part Dabangg). Music is already a hit and is scored by Sajid-Wajid.
Verdict:
Dabangg is complete entertainment film. Masses would love the film and not classes. If you are fan of Robinhood Pandey, then take his new year gift.
