Tollywood’s megastar Chiranjeevi quits acting and now concentrates only on politics. He announced the same in front of his millions of fans who have been waiting for Chiru’s 150th movie venture at the launch of a Telugu movie channel. Chiru says he is now completely into politics and out of movies. His son-actor Ram Charan Teja will fulfill the gap and millions of fans expectations hereafter.
When asked to him whether he would lead the role of a politician or chief minister in his future film, he claimed that people of Andhra Pradesh were expecting to see him as chief minister in real life rather than in reel life."Why in cinema? People feel I can become the chief minister in real life itself," is what he says.
Last December, Chiranjeevi gave a statement that he is going to act for a lead role for the movie produced by his son Ram Charan Teja which will be Chiru’s 150th movie.
Reacting to the news, Ram Charan Teja tweeted: "Like many other I was shocked to hear dad decided not to act any more and dedicate his life to serving people…not able to sleep over this."
