Ranbir Kapoor has time and again put something new on the platter for his fans and audiences. The choco-boy who is quite a stunner, will be soon seen in role of a street-fighter in his next. While in Abhinav Kashyap’s Besharam we have seen Ranbir do a few stunts and action sequences, in brother Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet we will see him in a never-seen-before avatar.
The teaser image of Ranbir’s look from the film has been unmasked and we are quite piqued to know more about his character. The film will see R.K in the shoes of street-fighter Johnny Balraj, and he flaunt his six-pack abs and fighting skills full well. We know when Chiraag of Kapoor Khandaan, takes up a role he full-well perfects it and makes it seem like his own.Johnny Balraj is someone who wants to be a “bigshot” in no time.
The film spans from 1950s to 1970s. Also, Karan Johor has a full-fledged dark role in the film and will be seen playing Kaizad Khambatta. Anushka Sharma as Rosie, a cabaret singer, is the common love interest of Kaizad and Johnny.
The film will make its way to the theatres May 15th!
