Akshay Kumar whose real name was Rajiv Bhatia started his career with a fifteen-second role in 1987’s Aaj. Before entering into films, Akshay Kumar was a martial arts instructor in Bangkok. It was a student that suggested that he try modelling. Because of his success as a model, he was offered films. Along with his good looks and excellent martial art skills, he was always the first choice to do adventurous movies.

Akshay Kumar was born to Hari Om Bhatia and Aruna Bhatia on September 9th in 1967. Being a native of Punjab, Akshay Kumar referred as Khiladi and Indian version of James Bond in Bollywood cinema. With over $ 32.5 Million income in an annual year, he stood 76th richest actor according to Forbes.

Akshay Kumar is best known for his action and comic timing and karate kicks in films. He neither had star parents, nor a godfather to launch him in the films. He made his film debut in the year 1991 in the movie Saugandh directed by Raj Sippy. Later on, he was seen in Khiladi what turned out to blockbusters.
